An Empirical Study on Private Equity Fund Manager’s Decision Making Criteria’s and its Impact on the Selection of Investment Proposals

Abstract


This study focuses on identifying, investigating and analyzing the criteria’s, and their inter relationship impacting a fund managers decision of private equity firms in India. We have used a sample of 63 private equity firms in India with identified criteria’s in the past studies. To analyze the result we have used principal component analysis in which we extracted 4 important factors like Product, Entrepreneur, Management team’s capability and finance. In multiple regressions result of the model is significant.s
